VISUAL AIMS

We are currently developing a new version of AIMS.

The new program is being completely rewritten in Visual FoxPro.
We have invested in the very latest development tools and add in components.

Some of the new features include :

All animals supported
Visual AIMS will support al animal species not just birds.

Multi lingual
Visual AIMS will run in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch.
Simply select the language you want from the menu and the whole program will change into your language of choice.

Completely redesigned user interface
AIMS will now have toolbars and quick data entry features.

Entry and editing of data will now be done within one form.

Updates via the internet
You will always be up to date with the very latest version.
The new program has a built in update feature that will allow it to connect directly to our download site and install the latest updates of the program automatically.  In the same way that Antivirus programs download the latest updates.  

The user simply clicks on the upgrade button and the program will connect to the internet, check to see if there is an upgrade, if there is it will download only the difference between your version and the latest one, no more large files to download, and install the upgrade.

Network enabled
You will be able to run Visual AIMS over a network.

Full security
If security is turned on the system manager will be able to set up user level access to control access to data and the ability to add, edit or delete records.

This will prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data, ensure that data is not overwritten or deleted accidentally.
It includes full audit log to allow system managers to track changes in data etc.

Current Status
Visual AIMS is currently being beta tested by a number of users prior to release.
