AIMS has two main facilities:

1. Incubation management.

The incubation management of AIMS provides highly accurate control of egg weight loss during incubation.

It's features include:

Calculation of % loss at pip.
This includes time differences between weightings, to the nearest minute, allowing you to weigh eggs at any time of the day and skip any number of days between weightings..

Calculation of the exact relative humidity that the egg requires in order to attain the optimum % loss at pip.
It inform you which of your incubators is the nearest to this and the % loss the egg will achieve if placed in this machine.

Produce egg weight loss graphs, on screen or to print, in both 2 and 3D

Records full details of lay date and times, set date and times, incubators, pip, hatching, etc.

Automatically adds bird to your stock when you hatch an egg.

When you add an egg for a species which is registerable with the DEFRA the program will print out a ring order form to sent to them.

2. Stock management.

The stock management includes:

Registering of stock, including up to two ID rings and a microchip transponder for each bird.

Tracking of parentage.

Details of origin and disposition of bird.

Movement history within your facility.

Prints out UK CITES Import, Export and Article 10 Certificate application forms for you at the touch of a button.

Comes with full species databases, right down to subspecies level, containing scientific names, common names and ranges of over 18,000 birds.

It has a built in incubation database containing data on incubation times and Kw values for many species, the latter is used to calculate accurate fresh weights for eggs..
This is updated annually to all users free of charge.
